So I recover my computer from a nasty virus and start getting some things done, then Briana’s computer decides to eat itself. I figure, no problem, I’ll just fix it. Yeah right. I was lucky to get all her work backed up on my computer. The power supply on hers overheated and burned up. One harddrive in the trash. Still I figure I can get her back up and working. Franken-puter to the rescue, I’ll just cannibalize a buncha parts and a build a new system. Then she finds out that new installs of XP are no longer supported for updates. At that point I lost it. I had already set up an account for her on my computer for while I was trying to fix hers, so now that’s what she is using. I could still build a computer out of the parts I have lying around but with no OS that’s a waste of time.

Oh, and did I mention that we are now looking for a place to live? We are. Maybe some kind of room and board for housework kinda thing if we can. Anyway, now you know why my blog looks like I have abandoned it. I haven’t, I just decided that Briana’s online work takes priority over mine. Take a look at her blog if you wanna know what’s going on with us. I’ll be back to blogging and art as soon as I can be. Until then, Y’all take care!

It occured to me that I should say a few things about my religious affiliation since it affects the way I live and all the things I write and do. On my “About Dracoselene” page I have it stated that I’m a Draconic Minister. A lot of people over the years have asked me what exactly that means, and a few have just made wild assumptions. I’ll be posting some things to clear up any confusion and maybe you’ll better understand where I’m coming from on my social and political views. I’ll start with some of the more commonly asked or speculated stuff and go from there. This is gonna be a book in the future by the way, your opinions are welcome and encouraged. With any luck this will be informative and eye-opening to many of you. It’s about time I remember that I’m a Minister and start acting like one eh?

Well I finally found a new theme I like that has a more “professional” look to it. I’ll be applying it as soon as I make a few changes to the graphics it came with. Whoever heard of an artist usings someone else’s graphics for their site anyway? Once that’s all set up I’ll be working on some kind of gallery solution (suggestions welcome and encouraged).

I am currently looking into some kind of solution for having a gallery of my work here. I’ll be putting up wallpapers that will be free to download. Most of them will feature pinups and designs that are at our store for purchase. I’ll put them up as soon as I figure out the best way to do so. Until I come up with a solution for a static gallery I’ll prolly just put them in individual posts. Comments and suggestions welcome.

I’ve decided that I’m not really happy with the way this blog looks so I’ll be mucking about with it for a while. I’ll let ya’ll know when I’ve found a look I like. Feel free to comment and let me know if you know of a wordpress theme that would suit me or if you have ideas or suggestions of things to add.
