My Goal:
Raise $10,000 to move to Maine. This amount was determined by the combined costs of moving, new home setup, utilities and personal needs for 3-5 months. (Which would allow us time to get work and steady income.) I’d really like to reach this goal by Valentine’s Day. That would be the ultimate gift of love! But let’s see how quickly this goal can be met.
I need help reaching this goal. Times are tough right now, and while I’m working as hard as I can, I can’t do it alone. Below the goal meter I will share ways that you can help me reach this goal. I will also be adding a “Thanks to:” section at the bottom to give credit to those that help. Hey, if anyone pitches in on this, they’ll definitely deserve the recognition!

What you can do to help me reach my goal:
- Place links to http://www.bluedragoncreations.com on your FaceBook, MySpace, blogs and web pages. This will drive traffic to the store, and we get commissions on every sale. If you want to make some money for yourself while promoting the store, go to the affiliate page, follow the instructions, and you’ll get a 15% bonus for every sale you generate.
- Buy items from the store. We get a commission from every sale, and you get to own a piece of our original art.
- Buy handmade earrings. (Click here for a blog entry with pictures of what jewelry I currently have on hand) You can go to the gallery to get ideas, then e-mail me your request for a custom item. I’m only doing earrings right now for custom order. If you’d like to buy random handmade jewelry in bulk to resell, e-mail me and we’ll work out a package that fits your budget.
- We have a large lot of recording studio equipment to sell. We’d prefer to sell it as a lot, but might break it up if you ask. If you’re not interested, pass the link along if you know someone who might be.
- Donate through PayPal. If you’re just feeling generous, you can send cash through PayPal. It’s a safe, secure way to help, and you don’t have to be a member to donate.
- Care Packages. If you’re local, or have our mailing address, packages with items we’d normally have to spend money on like razors, shampoo, other hygiene products, non-edible kitchen stuff, things of that nature would be great. Full or sample sizes, anything helps. Coupons for free or nearly-free goods are also welcome.
- Join InboxDollars using my referral. When you sign up & complete certain surveys or offers, I get a little cash in my account. You get cash for e-mails, surveys and offers.
- Join SwagBucks using my referral. Every time you search and win swagbucks, I get credited an equal amount, up to 100 per person. I can then use the points to get gift certificates, just like you.
- Shop at CafePress. If you click the banner below, I’ll earn a commission on anything you buy. (The banner advertises Twilight gear, but they have millions of other designs, not just Twilight stuff)
What I’m doing to help myself reach this goal:
- Working hard on the store to generate more sales.
- Selling handcrafted jewelry and taking custom orders.
- Selling off stuff that we have sitting around.
- Signing up for LOTS of freebies. Anything I can get for free is something I don’t have to spend cash on, so I can save more.
- Looking for affiliates to help drive traffic to the store.
- Earning points from SwagBucks & MyPoints. Getting certificates to spend saves cash.
- Using InBox Dollars to earn cash.
- Anything else I can think of as opportunities present themselves.
