Hi! Since you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed to get updates.
Well, it’s a slow start. So far I’ve written 18how-to’s since joining on February 5th, and I’ve made $0.08. That’s not much at all, but I’m hoping that they will make more money as they gain popularity.
With a friend of mine moving in with us soon, should have some good new stuff going up. She and I were talking about working together to do step-by-step recipes with photos. Also, step-by-step instructions for making basic jewelry. I think those will go over well.
Now what I need is for people to leave reviews and comments on my articles. That will help move them up and get them looked at by even more people.
If I can get more articles written, I know that it will bring in more money. I like the idea of having this as a residiual income stream. Write them once, and then they can just keep earning over time. The more I write, the more possibility there is of income. I just have to try to think of more things that I know how to do. I have so much random knowledge in my head, it’s hard nailing things down and figuring out how to turn them into instructions.

I’m hoping to get more up in the coming weeks. I plan on doing some of my really good dishes, and I know my friend is amazing with desserts, so we should have quite the cullinary collection going.

Well, I cashed in for another Amazon certificate today. That means I have $15 toward that MP3 player I’m saving up for. Unfortunately, the price of the player went up by $5. I don’t know why it went up, but now I have to save more to get it. I’m just hoping that by the time I get more certificates racked up, the price will have gone down again.
I’d really like to get a few referrals to SwagBucks. I’m living proof that they really pay out, so no one would have to worry that they are any kind of scam. It’s easy to use and they get me my certificates in 2-4 days after I cash in for them. Right now, I need $35 more to get the player. That’s 315 more points. You get a point for every point your referrals earn, up to 100, so all I need is 3 referrals to earn 100 points, and I can get the player. I earn around 90 points a month, so it wouldn’t take long at all.

I really like this site, and I know you wouldn’t regret it if you join. Help me out, and get some cool swag for yourself at the same time! (In case I hadn’t mantioned it before, they offer a lot more than Amazon certificates, they have ones for StarBucks, GameSwap, some other stores, iTunes downloads, movie and music gear, video games, PS3 & Xbox consoles, TONS of stuff. So there’s something for everyone on there.)

A few days back I was really pissed off at a problem I was hiving with something I was doing, so in my frustration, I went over to the tab in my browser where I keep SwagBucks open for searching, and I typed in “annoying bullshit”, because that’s what I was dealing with at the time. Take a look at what came up:

Note that “Rachael Ray” came up as related searches. LOL. I got a kick out of that, since I find her so damn annoying. I swear if you tied her hands behind her back, she wouldn’t be able to talk. So at least I got some amusement at a time when I was in such a pissy mood.
