Thinking of positive things

I was sitting in the living room trying to think of some positive things to keep my spirits up, and I thought maybe I should come in here and write about them.

I now have 51 Twitter followers. I think this is really cool, because not very many of them are people I know. I’m not really promoting my Twitter page either. That means I’m just getting popularity on my own. People are wanting to know what I’m doing, and that’s really cool. I never thought I’d get this many followers, now I’m thinking about getting to 100 followers, or even more. It’s very cool that I’m gaining popularity on Twitter without really trying.

Twine seems to be doing pretty well for getting me more traffic. It’s amazing that I never knew about this site. I got an e-mail to join, and now it is bringing me traffic. It’s easy to use, and it gets my links and info out there in the world with minimal effort. I like that. I always like it when something is easy to use, and does good things for me.

I think BlogCatalog might be a good thing too. It hasn’t brought a lot of traffic yet, but I think in time it will. People are finding me within the site and looking at my blogs, which is a good thing. Hopefully in time it will bring more attention to all the blogs. If I can join some groups and have something to say, I think that will add some good mojo on there, and make me more popular.

Even though I haven’t gotten any sales on Zazzle yet, I’m pretty excited about using them. I think they could really be a good thing. They’re easy to use, and even though their layout isn’t all that well done, I can use them quickly, and there are multiple ways to access information from the to show to the world. I feel that I should be getting my first sale from them and day now, with many more to follow.

I’m really happy that I came up with the idea to do photo books. I know that it’s going to take a while to get them finished and up online, but I really think that it’s a good idea, and another way to make money from my art, and get myself know in the world. I think that the photo books will do pretty well if I can get word of them out. All I need is access to high-speed, and I can get them up and available.

I like the fact that I was able to get Tal’s blog integrated into mine. I know that I need to have content of my own to offer to people, but I think that having his stuff in there will be a good thing because it will keep people interested. I’m sure not everyone knows about his blog, so having his posts on my site provides them with the information. Not to mention the fact that it adds all kinds of pages for me to have Google ads on. His posts are so long, I’m actually thinking about adding mid-text ads. We’ll see about that one later.

I’m happy that I’ve learned the wonders of RSS feeds. The Zazzle feed is great because it makes it a lot easier for me to keep up with new products and blog about them. I wish CP had done something like that. It would have been nice if auto-feeding the RSS feeds into my blogs worked better, but I’m just glad that I can do it, and it’s yet another way to bring information to my readers with less work on my part.

I’m pretty happy with the way my blog layout turned out. I think I did well with that, and it’s nice that people like the look of it. I really changed it a lot from the original, and I think it is a pretty good reflection of my personality, and it just adds something unique.

Oh yeah, let’s not forget the fact that I am even able to be thinking of good things and focusing on them instead of spending my days thinking that my life sucks and is never going to get better and all that crap. I’m damn proud of myself for finding a way to change how I think and how I react to situations. I think I’m doing a whole lot better these days, and that can only do good things for my life. I just have to be in the right state of mind, and thinking of the right things to make things really happen. If I can keep focusing on the positive, and the good things that I believe will be coming to me, then those things will come to me.
