Luxor Amun Rising
Luxor is one of my personal favorite games. I got hooked on Zuma ages ago, and when I found the Luxor series, I liked them even better.
Luxor is a marble shooting game with an Egyptian theme, and easy-to-learn gameplay. It’s incredibly addictive. The graphics are nice, and there are some amusing images in the heiroglyphs that back each stage.
I personally prefer the side-to-side shooting that Luxor provides over the rotating center shooting of Zuma, but you may disagree.
There isn’t a whole lot to say about this game, because it’s simple, straight-forward, engaging, and just plain fun. You can open it up and play for a few minutes, or be hoovered into it for hours at a time. I definitely recommend the entire Luxor series.

Mr. Jones' Graveyard Shift
Mr. Jones’ Graveyard shift is a time-management style game. The graphics may be fairly simple, but it is quite an enjoyable game.
Despite the rushed feeling you get from Mimi’s constant nagging phone calls, you actually have all the time in the world to complete the game. Your only limitation is getting back into the house by dark so you don’t run into the ghosts.
There are some clipping issues with Mr. Jones running into mourners and in getting around the yard itself, but once you get used to it, you can play quite easily. You can always click on Help if you forget what to do, and you can learn the do’s and dont’s of the game pretty quickly.
You’ll want to take some time to figure out how far to space the graves, how items affect nearby plots, and familiarize yourself with using the supply truck. It’s a good idea to check the supply truck each morning before taking any jobs, and it can really help to take a day or two to lay out empty plots, so you have them ready when they’re needed. Oh, and don’t forget to chase after the dog and pick up those crystals.
If you like time-management and strategy games, you’ll probably like Mr. Jones’ Graveyard Shift. It’s very engaging, and even fun to watch someone else play.
