I have always loved skulls. I have a groundhog skull in a glass bowl on my desk. I have a mouse in the freezer that I mean to get the skull from. I would actually love to collect more skulls and skeletons, it’s just not something that’s easy to come by unless you have a lot of money or know people who do a lot of hunting.
The thing that gets me is that so many people think collecting skulls is creepy and that people who do it are either evil or damaged somehow. Neither of those things is necessarily true. You never know what kind of person is into collecting what kind off thing. Especially when it comes to artists, we collect all sorts of things for all sorts of reasons.

With society focusing more on wealth and status than on personality, there are a lot of us in the world who are feeling pretty down about ourselves. Not that we have any real reason to, but when the media and the sheeple around you are telling you you’re not good enough, it can be easy to start to feel like you must be a lowly piece of crap because you’re not what they want you to be. People even go so far as to commit suicide because they feel they’re not good enough. It’s bullshit.
I for one will never be one of the sheeple. I will think for myself and be what I want to be. I don’t need to have a lot of money or fancy clothes or surgery to be amazing. I’ve already got that covered. I’m worthy of friendship and love. I’m more amazing than most people know, and it’s their loss for not getting to know me well enough to realize just how amazing I am.

It’s coming slowly, but progress is being made on my various books. Most of the images have been replaced in the Animal Facts book. All three poetry books have been proofread. I just finished off the cover for 19 Years, 400 Poems. The next step is to get some of these books out there for sale. Unfortunately, that’s one of the parts I really don’t like.
So much time goes by between publishing one book and another that I always for get the steps that I need to go through to get it done. I forget the rules for formatting the documents. I forget the steps for converting it for Lulu, then for Kindle and then for Google. There’s a lot to do, and I get lost in all of it.
