Embrace the Night (Bat Moon) is one of my older designs. I was really trying to express my darker side. I wanted to make some designs that were creepy but pretty at the same time. I love nighttime, and oddly enough I’m pretty fond of bats.
There are several layers in this image, and it took me a while to get things laid out just the way I wanted, especially the bats. Well, actually, I think picking the font was the hardest part. I always have trouble deciding what font works best with an image. Then there’s the issue of something looking cool, but being almost unreadable. I know some people would go for style, but I go for readability too.
